Fox & Thrush was born from the belief that tea should stay hot for as long as you wish to linger and, there should be teapot cozies as beautiful as the fine china you serve it in!

Frustrated by the lack of stylish options, Sally Fox (a lifelong lover of sewing, fine fabrics, and the art of tea) founded Fox & Thrush in 2024 to create luxurious teapot cozies.  Drawing on her decades of experience as a historical costume designer, jewelry designer and connoisseur of fine textiles, her designs are elegant enough to grace the most sumptuous table settings. 

Focusing primarily on richly embroidered fabrics, Ms. Fox combines space-age materials, old world craftsmanship and thoughtful details (sometimes even precious pearls and gems!) to create teapot cozies that are functional as well as a joy to behold.

Sally sources gorgeous fabrics from across the globe, designs each cozy and then works with local artisans in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains to meticulously hand craft these beautiful tea accessories.  Each cozy is painstakingly cut by Ms. Fox to capture the best of the embroideries and ensure they tell their story from every angle. Stitching is then applied to enhance the embroidered elements and add dimensionality. When pearl and gemstone embellishments are added, they are made and attached by hand.

Whether you're hosting a special tea party or curling up with a book and a teapot for one, Ms. Fox invites you to find a favorite cozy (though it's hard to stop with just one!) and enjoy an experience that is truly "Haute to the last drop!"
